Obligatory airport picture.
Okay. So they give us Bi Bim Bap on the airplane... and it comes with a tube of hot pepper paste the size of my fork!
Jackie & I on the airplane after riding for at least 12 hours!
You should've seen the "Do not enter" ones!
We're in Korea! And at last, we're finally GOING somewhere!
Central Dojang. Where all the magic happens.
Central Dojang again.
The street Central Dojang is on, also where we stayed in Seoul.
And again.
Why are those perfectly aligned shoes coned off?
Our room in our harmlessly seedy motel. The shower was the bathroom, essentially. Which is fine, Europe is kind of the same way. Except you had to use a handheld shower head! Craazy!
Thought about taking these home. But then I remembered the whole Homeland Security thing. So I took a picture instead.
First lunch in Korea. Looks similar to breakfast and dinner. It was really excellent.
1,000 Won. Equivalent to $1.
Old James Dean Karaoke? We actually WENT to Karaoke here later in the trip.

The metro station.
Seoul ... near Sang Moo Sa.
I asked Master Choi what these happy feet were for (note that they were behind a yellow line that had stairs following them) and he said it was a reminder to walk on the correct side of the stairs. Which I continually struggled with.
This picture taken for the sole purpose of capturing that sign. But in case you're wondering that is Master Donnelly and Master Minichino.
Shopping at Insa-Dong.
Seriously. Best signs on earth in Asia.
These gates are at each end of the city (N,S,E,W). Pretty rad.
This doorway is my height. Haha.
Namsaedun Market.
What does it MEAN?
This is how all of the clothing markets are in Seoul. It's awesome because everything is different, but you also cannot leave an item once you find something you like... because... YOU'LL NEVER FIND IT AGAIN!!!
Disco Bus. For Real!
I know these pictures are crummy, but it looked so cool at the time. These are the mountains all misty on the way to the celebration in Sokcho City.
Okay, so I totally walked into our hotel room/whatever it was... and I opened the first door and I was like, "What the hell is this empty room all about?" Don't fret though. I figured it out...
My sleeping situation for two nights. I must say, it wasn't bad.
Master Choi & Master Jang at the demonstration.
This is the French team - Piere and Elodie were Master Choi's former students.

This is us with Master Te. This guy was awesome. He bought us ice cream. Doesn't he look like a cuddly wuddly teddy bear?
Totally random Korean Family.
This looks like most of Region 1. Or maybe just like. A whole group of random people that happened to be nearby that happen to consist of mostly Region 1 people.
Master Lee (young), Master Choi, Jackie, Me & Master Rotelli in back
Me, Master Rotelli, Master Lee (Head of Korean SBD Team), Jackie
Us and the Filipino team. Whose names I cannot recall, but we definitely spent a lot of time with them.
Region 1 sans a few members and Kwan Jang Nim (middle) ...
This is kind of hard to capture... but these are the Korean kids doing traditional drumming and dance at the banquet. So. Cool.
Drumming team that rocked so many socks.
Master Lee and George.
Unfortunately still overcast, this was taken from our balcony.
Scenery on the ride back to Seoul.
