Korea 2005

Can someone explain to me what this means? There weren't even context clues. This is literally a sign on a blank wall near nothing that appears to be a sink, or a water fountain, or... ANYTHING.

Jeju-Do. Subtropical, touristy, but beautiful volcanic island on the southern coast of Korea.

Lava cave...

Don't fall!

Lava pillar.

Us on some random orange chairs found in the middle of the lava cave. Like. Randomly.

Jeju scenery.

These are all over the place, and apparently they're tombs ... and they're placed on properties because it is custom to bury the dead with the family land.

It's a phone booth Jeju Statue thing.

Those stone walls/pillars/whatever else were really impressive. And they were EVERYWHERE.

Temple, and 7000 Buddhas.

Bridge over a series of waterfalls we went to see.

Do I not look totally copy and pasted into this image? I mean, for real.

Stuff.

Crossing the bridge!

Mildly frightening buffet.

Outside our window.

Lava rock. Like everwhere else in Jeju.

We found this pig and turns out it eats human waste?

Coastline.

Our tour guides for Jeju-Do wearing red sox shirts!

Seoul again. Finally.

Korean BBQ with everyone. So awesome. Food is already eaten though ;)...

A journey to another bar!

These snack things looked like packing peanuts. And then we found this humongous bag of them!

Hawaiian karaoke.

My Korean Breakfast. The breakfast of champions indeed!

The stream that runs through the center of Seoul.

Master Choi was like... LET ME TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU! So... Here it is.

Cool Korean tree.

The beautiful theatre in which we saw our traditional Korean performance.

With the city in the background.

Palace in Seoul.

One of many cool plants in the botanical garden/green house thing.

Trash is fun!

These are crummy pictures. But as we're going to the airport... the mountains and the red mossy stuff! Beautiful.

On the airplane. My attempt to covertly take a picture of the Alaskan mountains while making light spread throughout the whole dark vessel.

And fin.
